The popular Pole secured three FIA European Rally Championship titles between 2015 and 2017 and, last season, won the WRC2 Challenger series for WRC2-registered drivers who have not previously won a title in Rally2 machinery at WRC level.
Not a man to rest on his laurels, Kajetanowicz is back for
more WRC2 action in 2024. Starting from this month’s Safari Rally Kenya (28 –
31 March), the 44-year-old will pilot a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 at seven FIA
World Rally Championship rounds.
“I am planning to contest seven rounds in total,”
Kajetanowicz confirmed. “Last year we had the same amount of chances, using
them in a great way, winning the WRC2 Challenger title. Although I assured
everyone that this success would not change me, the truth is that I feel that
my motivation is two times stronger than before.
