Who was your
driver of the
rally?

The FIA World Rally Championship delivered action aplenty on Rally Italia Sardegna last week. But whose performance made them the driver of the event?

WRC.com has put together this shortlist. Now it’s down to you to vote by clicking here and remember to keep visiting WRC.com for more polls soon.

WRC.com’s driver of the rally nominees:

Mikko Hirvonen: Scored a dominant first victory for Citroen with a faultless display.

Sebastien Ogier: Charged to a gravel special stage best - the first by a Super 2000 car in the WRC - and fifth overall against more powerful opposition.

Ott Tanak: Put a season of frustration behind him to excel with maiden WRC podium.

Nicolas Fuchs: Overcame brake issues and a time-consuming puncture to secure first PWRC victory to set up a six-way title showdown in Spain.

Louise Cook: Fought through the pain of a collarbone injury to reach finish.

Luca Pedersoli: Scored a world championship point on first start in series for more than a decade.

Evgeny Novikov: Kept a cool ahead to claim second runner-up spot of 2012.

Thierry Neuville: Recovered from early off to bag a Power Stage point despite suffering from second-degree burns to his hand.

Mads Ostberg: Hit back from delays caused by a broken rear differential to finish fourth and move into third place in the drivers’ standings with one round to go.

Yuriy Protasov: Rally Class winner towed Martin Prokop back onto the road when the Czech got stuck on a liaison section.
