Miikka Anttila

Antila partnered several young Finns, including Janne Tuohino, Kosti Katajamaki and even Mikko Hirvonen before joining forces with Jari-Matti Latvala for the 2003 season. The relationship has experienced plenty of highs and lows but is finally beginning to blossom, as demonstrated by their elevation to Ford’s team leaders during last season. So committed is Anttila to his co-driving career that he missed the birth of his second child in order to contest RallyRACC-Rally de Espana in 2011.

For 2013, Anttila is following Latvala in his move from the now-defunct Ford manufacturer team to join Volkswagen. Driving the new Polo R WRC, the experienced pairing will hope to secure strong finishes, even if 2014 may be when the VW team is truly competitive.
