Julien Ingrassia

Ingrassia began his navigational career in 2002 in the popular club-level rally scene in his native France. His rallying became more serious in 2004 when he partnered Franck Chellet for a season in the Volant Peugeot 206 series. Things really took a step up in 2006 when he began a relationship with rising star Sebastien Ogier. They became Junior world champions together in 2008 and have since claimed seven wins at ‘senior’ level with Citroen. Ingrassia has followed Ogier to Volkswagen where the pair will begin a long-term deal driving a Skoda Fabia Super 2000 on all 13 rounds of the 2012 in tandem with extensive testing in Volkswagen’s new Polo R WRC, which they are due to use in competition for the first time in 2013.
