Pablo Marcos will return to the Frankfurt-based team ahead of the new season. Marcos was team manager at Hyundai between 2021 and 2023, but team principal and president Cyril Abiteboul said his job will be different this time around.
The squad’s WRC Program Manager Christian Loriaux will leave Hyundai. The technical aspect of Loriaux’s job will be fulfilled by Francois-Xavier Demaison (pictured below).
Abiteboul said: “Everyone at Hyundai Motorsport is enjoying a well-deserved break from competition, however – as is often the case at this time of year – we are making some key changes within the company to support our 2025 push and adapt to our environment.

Hyundai announces reshuffle ahead of 2025 WRC season
Hyundai Motorsport has announced a series of changes to its team structure ahead of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship season.

“We had a very strong 2024 season but didn’t achieve everything we set out to, so looking ahead to a transformative year for our motorsport operations we have spent time considering how we can streamline our organisation. We are therefore delighted to welcome Pablo Marcos back to Hyundai Motorsport as Team Manager. His remit is very different to his previous role from 2021 to 2023 with Pablo now solely focused on realising our sporting and performance targets within WRC.
“Tolga Ozakinci will now oversee the infrastructure across our rallying and racing events as well as working with our associated supplies and partners, some of them being shared across programs.
“Finally, we would like to thank Christian for his contribution to our mission over the past three years. He has been a great support personally when I joined the world of rally and we wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”
