New Hyundai documentary delves into Neuville’s crowning WRC season

Premiered on Hyundai Motorsport’s YouTube channel on Friday, 20 December, Never Just Win offers an unparalleled behind-the-scenes look at the team’s operations during one of the most dramatic seasons in recent history. It places a spotlight on the fierce title duel between Neuville and team-mate Ott Tänak, a rivalry that captivated fans around the globe.

The documentary builds toward the season’s nail-biting conclusion at FORUM8 Rally Japan, where the championship was ultimately decided. A dramatic crash for Tänak on the final day handed Neuville the drivers’ crown, but also dashed Hyundai’s hopes of clinching the manufacturers’ title. Toyota GAZOO Racing emerged victorious, edging Hyundai by just three points - the narrowest margin since 1983.

Beyond the on-stage action, the film provides rare insight into the people powering Hyundai Motorsport, both on and off the stages.
