Munster secures full-season M-Sport drive for 2025 WRC

Grégoire Munster and M-Sport Ford will continue their partnership into the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship, with the Luxembourg national back for a full season aboard a Puma Rally1.

Munster, who completed his first full season at rallying’s top level in 2024, becomes the first driver to be named in M-Sport Ford’s 2025 line-up after Adrien Fourmaux – who led the team to five podiums this season, departed the team for Hyundai Motorsport earlier this month.

With Belgian co-driver Louis Louka – who will remain by his side next season – Munster achieved a trio of top-five results this year, with top-three stage times in foggy conditions at Rally Chile Bío Bio demonstrating the 25-year-old’s improvement and potential.

Setting out his objectives for the upcoming campaign, Munster declared: “The aim [is] to continue our progress in the top category, and improving from where we finished in 2024. Of course, that means aiming to break a top five finish with fourth overall, and hopefully eventually some podium places too. I’m excited to see what we can do.”

“I’m really looking forward to next year and to have the opportunity to drive the Puma again, especially in the good team structure and atmosphere at M-Sport,” he added.

M-Sport Ford team principal Richard Millener welcomed the news, saying: “I have really enjoyed working with Grégoire and Louis this year, so to have them back again in 2025 is a big positive for me.

“They made some great progress over the course of their debut year, and although we must remain realistic with the goals and expectations for them in 2025, it is a great opportunity for them both. I am very happy to be working with them again for another full season and I believe they thoroughly deserve this opportunity.”
