Two-time European Rally Champion Hayden Paddon made the podium’s final step, his the New Zealander’s Hyundai ensuring three different manufacturers in the top-three places. This year’s WRC2 title winner and next year’s works Toyota driver Sami Pajari finished fifth in what’s likely to be his final GR Yaris Rally2 outing for a while.

As well as providing a relaxed end to the year for the crews, Monza also marked the end of Pirelli’s fourth season as the WRC’s sole tyre supplier.
