The Frankfurt-based team emerged from round 10 with a further-extended 35-point lead at the top of the manufacturers’ standings after a second one-two-three in three years. The result also helped drivers’ series leader Thierry Neuville move further clear at top of the table, with the Belgian repeating his Lamia success of 2022.
Abiteboul was quick to admit the rough and occasionally random nature of the Acropolis made it hard to plan for, but the Frenchman was delighted his team's result result.

Abiteboul: Hyundai’s strategy delivered Greek podium sweep
Hyundai Motorsport team principal Cyril Abiteboul has talked of the plan which helped mastermind an EKO Acropolis Rally Greece podium lock-out for the i20 N Rally1 HYBRID.
He said: “It is hard to know whether this is a coincidence or a sign of our determination to shine at this event, which is a true test for the crews, the team and the car. It was not a perfect weekend: we had to face a number of challenges, including punctures that frustrated our very strong result from Friday.
“Yet we remained focused, kept our head down, and played the long game. We weren’t too greedy, and once again our balanced strategy played out very nicely for us. It is a true team effort to have this full Hyundai Motorsport podium; it obviously extends our lead in the standings, however, championships are one thing and the emotions of a win like this one are something else.”
