WRC2 leader Rossel reveals new co-driver after Dunand split

Benjamin Boulloud will co-drive for WRC2 leader Yohan Rossel at Rally Italia Sardegna (30 May – 2 June) following the Frenchman's confirmation of the end of his partnership with Arnaud Dunand.

Rossel, who currently tops the WRC2 championship standings by 10 points over Oliver Solberg, shared the news shortly after Dunand announced his decision to step down from the role.

Since joining forces in 2022, Rossel and Dunand celebrated three victories at WRC2 level and secured a third-place finish in last year’s WRC2 championship.

“After almost two years spent together and a lot of good memories, Arnaud Dunand has decided to take a step back and our collaboration comes to an end,” Rossel posted online.

“I would like to thank him for all the incredible job he has done during these past few months, I will never forget our victories and I’m proud to have achieved a part of the road with him. I totally respect his decision and I wish Arnaud the very best for the future.

“I’m also happy to announce I will share the Citroën C3 Rally2 with Benjamin Boulloud in Sardinia.”

Boulloud, pictured above (left) with Yoann Bonato, previously guided Rossel to a sixth-place WRC2 finish at Rallye Monte-Carlo in 2022. In addition to winning several rounds of the FIA European Rally Championship, he and Bonato also clinched last year’s French Tarmac title.
