As Ogier looks forward to next week’s Vodafone Rally de Portugal, the nation where he landed his maiden WRC win 14 years ago, he’s happy to talk of the satisfaction he took from Zagreb.
“It was a tough weekend,” he said. “But we never gave up and we kept putting pressure on. I think I never had so many moments in one rally, pushing the limits like this, but most importantly we brought it home with a win.
“One hundred podiums is a nice number and it’s great to reach it with a victory. I enjoy every opportunity I have to drive these cars and it’s nice to see we still have some speed. I’m super happy for the team, even if we can’t make so much difference in the points.
“It’s been a great team performance and let’s keep pushing like this.”
Toyota will field four GR Yaris Rally1s for the first time in Matosinhos next week, with Takamoto Katsuta stepping down from a point-scoring position in the team. Ogier, Elfyn Evans and reigning world champion Kalle Rovanperä will be registered for points for the Japanese marque at round five.

Ogier: "Nice" to achieve 100 WRC podiums
Three cars in the top five, an extended lead in the manufacturers’ FIA World Rally Championship, a 100th Sébastien Ogier podium and 59th win – no wonder the Frenchman is reflecting well on a ‘great team performance’ at Croatia Rally.
