It was another exhilarating day for young Estonian Jürgenson, who competes under the FIA Rally Star programme banner. He secured a further four Wolf Stage Win points aboard his M-Sport Poland-built, Pirelli equipped Ford Fiesta Rally3 to add to his already impressive haul from Friday.
Jürgenson now sits 2min 9.4sec clear at the top of the Junior WRC standings leaderboard after his closest rival coming into day two, Tom Rensonnet, was forced to retire. The RACB National Team-backed Belgian had won SS10 but pulled up in the following stage when his car overheated.
Australian Taylor Gill, who secured back-to-back stage wins yesterday, rose to second place following Rensonnet’s demise and showed impressive to speed to win SS14.
