Kremer just missed last season’s silverware after being pipped at the post by Italian rival – and fellow Škoda Fabia driver – Mauro Miele. He’s hoping to go one better this year, with WRC2 Masters Cup wins in Croatia and Naivasha balanced by a brace of retirements in Portugal and Sardinia.
Kremer sits fourth in the championship, eight points down on series leader Johannes Keferböck.
“We had two runs with zero points in Portugal and Sardinia and I think we are back in the championship now," he said.
