The M-Sport Ford star finished seventh at last month’s Safari Rally Kenya, but admitted the Naivasha-based event was frustrating – now he can’t wait to get the Puma Rally1 Hybrid into top gear for the upcoming fast gravel terrain.
“I like these rallies coming,” he said. “I have done Finland quite a few times, so I have some experience. To be honest, I have good memories from driving the World Rally Cars more than when I was there in the R5.”

“It’s good to have two fast rallies together,” he said. “Estonia’s always a nice event and Finland is always special. Kenya was tricky at times, quite frustrating. We were learning last year, but this year I want to be making more results.
“Now, we look forward to the next events and going there with a positive attitude. We have a test before and I know the team and everybody is working really hard for this year.”
