M-Sport Poland reveals upgraded Fiesta Rally3 Evo

M-Sport Poland has unveiled a raft of styling and performance upgrades for its Ford Fiesta Rally3.

The car, which made its competitive debut in 2021, is currently the vehicle of choice for WRC3 as well as the hugely popular one-make FIA Junior WRC series. It has now undergone a series of evolutions across several departments.

Notably, the car's front end has been given a facelift which includes a new bonnet, wingmirrors and bumper to enhance the efficiency of its cooling system, plus LED headlights and tail lights. Additionally, a new rear wing - already tried and tested on the Fiesta Rally2 - is also fitted.

The engine bay houses a new short-ratio gearbox aimed at improving torque delivery at lower speeds and improving acceleration, while the suspension dampers for both gravel and asphalt have also been upgraded. Another feature is new air ducts, which have been designed to enhance brake cooling.

“The Rally3 category is a very important category, not just for M-Sport Poland, but for the entire sport,” said M-Sport Poland managing director Maciej Woda. “We have had extremely positive feedback from customers around the world about the Fiesta Rally3 since its launch.

“This year we will face competition in the Rally3 category from another manufacturer which we are very much looking forward too. This is competition though. We want to make sure we are doing everything we can to make sure the Fiesta Rally3 Evo is the most competitive product available on the market and this comprehensive update underlines that.

“Make no mistake either, development is a continuous process with all cars produced by M-Sport Poland as we are always seeking to push the boundaries of what’s possible with our cars,” he added.

Jon Armstrong will debut the Fiesta Rally3 Evo at ERC Rally Islas Canarias this week.
