Turbo-less Tanak crawls to end of El Chocolate

Overnight leader Ott Tänak saw his Guanajuato Rally México advantage quickly disappear on Friday morning when his Ford Puma Rally1 suffered turbo issues on El Chocolate, forcing him to pull over and allow both Kalle Rovanperä and Thierry Neuville to pass. The Estonian was back in action on the next stage, albeit at a much slower pace as he tried to nurse his car back to the León service park.
