Serderidis makes history by driving a Ford Puma Rally1 car competitively for the first time on a British rally, but it’s his French team-mate Fourmaux who’s chasing a second win on the team’s local event, the Malcolm Wilson Rally.
“It’s really nice to be going back to this event,” said Fourmaux. “The stages are really nice – I just hope they kept the same ones as last time when I won! It’s good to get back on the gravel before we go to Mexico. The last time I drove the Rally2 car on gravel was March last year.”
Twelve months ago, Fourmaux finished second on the Rally of Nations – the event which ran out of Leon on the same roads as next week's WRC fixture.
