A desperate Esapekka Lappi was left waiting for assistance within touching distance of the flying finish on SS13 after hitting a snow bank at high speed, seeing his Hyundai i20 N beached in the snow facing in the wrong direction. It took more than seven minutes for fans to extract the car ending any hopes the Finn had of a maiden podium for his new Hyundai team.
