Serderidis to drive Puma in Monte

Jourdan Serderidis will drive an M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 at next month’s Rallye Monte-Carlo (19 - 22 January).

The Greek privateer will mark his fourth start at the wheel of the British squad’s hybrid-powered car at the season-opener, which takes crews from Monaco’s picturesque harbour to classic stages in the French Alps.

Serderidis has contested Rallye Monte-Carlo on four previous occasions: three times with R5 machinery and once more in a Citroën DS3 World Rally Car.

He steered the Puma to a career-best result of seventh overall at Safari Rally Kenya in June, while the penultimate round at RallyRACC - Rally de España was his first time driving the car in an asphalt WRC fixture.

Serderidis’ entry means that at least three top-level M-Sport cars will be present for round one of the 2023 season. New signing Ott Tänak will lead the team, with Frenchman Pierre-Louis Loubet also kicking off his first full campaign in rallying’s leading category.
