WATCH Rally leader Evans spins loses lead

Elfyn Evans tumbled from the lead of Repco Rally New Zealand on Saturday’s second stage after oversteering into a bank which ripped the front and rear end from his Toyota GR Yaris.

The Welshman damaged his cooling pack which left him and co-driver Scott Martin to make frantic repairs on the road section before the morning’s final stage.

The pair got moving again and were expected to limp through Komokoriki, but the stage was interrupted and cancelled when M-Sport driver Gus Greensmith suffered a high-impact roll.
