Son of experienced Dakar Rally rider Marco Bulacia, Marco junior’s career started in karting aged just seven, and he won three national and two regional titles in Bolivia. He progressed to the UTV rally category and finished runner-up in a regional series in 2015.

He stepped up to the national championship in 2016 in a Toyota Corolla Proto and produced a massive shock by winning his class at only 15-years-old.

In 2017 he mixed rallies in his home country, winning four, with gravel events in Italy. He was invited to the Bettega Memorial event in Bologna and drove a Ford Fiesta RS WRC to the semi-finals.

The 2018 campaign brought a mixed schedule as the youngster furthered his experience. The highlights were four WRC 2 rounds and victory in a Spanish gravel championship fixture.
