Three-time European champion Kajetan Kajetanowicz switches to a Volkswagen Polo R5 as he returns to WRC 2 for a second season.

Kajetanowicz became the first driver to win three consecutive European titles in 2017 after lifting the Polish title in four straight years from 2010 to 2013.

The Pole’s career began in 2000 in a Fiat 126p. After many seasons competing on home ground he made his breakthrough in 2008, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer to the Group N crown in the Polish Championship.

Kajetanowicz claimed his maiden European Championship event victory at his home round in 2010 and attempted a European campaign for the first time in 2014 in a Fiesta R5. He finished fourth.

This laid the platform for three years of dominance in the European series during which he scored four outright wins, including two at the Acropolis Rally in Greece.

Kajetanowicz debuted on the world stage in 2016, steering his Fiesta to fourth in WRC 2 at Rally Poland, and made the step on a permanent basis in 2018. He scored three top five finishes from four outings in a Fiesta and has a full schedule of seven rallies planned for 2019.
