WRC’S WOLF LUBES HOSPITALITY FLOURISHES

More than 500 people in total have enjoyed bespoke programmes at rounds in Sweden, Mexico, Portugal, Finland and Germany.

The biggest operation is yet to come as WRC Promoter, which owns the championship’s commercial rights, will host more than 300 people at RallyRACC Catalunya - Rally de España (24 - 27 October). Two hundred and fifty of those will be Wolf Lubricants VIP guests.

Independent lubricant specialist Wolf, the WRC’s title partner for the rally-closing Wolf Power Stage at all 14 rounds and also technical partner of the FIA Junior WRC Championship, has welcomed customers and guests from numerous countries, including Belgium, Middle East, Scandinavia, Mexico, France and Germany.

Frédéric Decroix, Wolf’s global marketing director, said its Rally Discovery programmes were an innovative way to develop partnership programmes and create hospitality events with dealers and customers and had generated ‘hugely enthusiastic feedback’.

“The partnership with the WRC creates the excellent opportunity to give our distributors and customers the ultimate Wolf brand experience during WRC rallies,” he added.

WRC Promoter’s programmes feature visits to famous special stage such as Panzerplatte in Germany and Amarante in Portugal to watch the WRC’s stars in action. Experienced guides join the guests to offer in-depth information about the championship and the sport.

Stageside hospitality includes priority viewing locations, barbeques and refreshments, with transportation to the stages from the programme base. Behind-the-scenes visits to the WRC TV compound in the service park are a popular part of rally visits.

Airport transfers by helicopter can be arranged while restaurant dinners are planned during the evening where guests reminisce about the day’s fun. Additional activities such as rally car co-drives and outside rally experiences can also be included.

“It’s a thrilling and spectacular experience to go stageside and view the stars and cars of the WRC in action, whether you are a newcomer or have attended a championship rally before,” said WRC Promoter managing director Oliver Ciesla.

“Our bespoke hospitality programmes provide a great opportunity for partners such as Wolf Lubricants to showcase their WRC involvement by entertaining their own partners and customers, delivering their all-important message while having fun at the same time.”
