BIRMINGHAM TO HOST 2020 WRC LAUNCH

The four factory teams representing Citroën, Hyundai, M-Sport Ford and Toyota will all be represented at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre on ‘WRC Super Saturday’ January 11.

The stars and cars of the new season will be presented together at the WRC stand for the first time, less than two weeks before Rallye Monte-Carlo (23 - 26 January) kicks-off the campaign.

One of the major attractions will be newly-crowned world champion, Ott Tänak, who will make his maiden public appearance as a Hyundai Motorsport driver.

Like this year, the launch will be held on a public day of the show, allowing fans access to crews and team management. The WRC’s leading lights will all be interviewed on the show’s central stage before thousands of fans.

WRC Promoter managing director Oliver Ciesla said he looked forward to the start of what’s certain to be another captivating year of world rallying.

“We are delighted to launch what promises to be another exceptionally competitive WRC season at Autosport International again,” said Ciesla.
