Three crews are entered in the category for round seven of the FIA World Rally Championship, with all set to tackle the 20-stage, 303km event in Ford Fiesta Rally3 machinery.
Georgios Vasilakis and co-driver Allan Harryman arrive as the highest-placed championship crew among the Japan entries. The Greek driver sits seventh in the WRC3 standings, one point ahead of Ghjuvanni Rossi, who is joined once again by Kylian Sarmezan.
Rossi has already shown strong pace in the category this season and will be looking to make the most of Japan’s technical asphalt roads, where precision and commitment are crucial.
Completing the WRC3 entry are Nicolas Otto and Hugo Magalhães. The German-Portuguese pairing starts the rally 10th in the standings and will be aiming to add to their points tally on an event where staying out of trouble can prove just as important as outright speed.
The rally begins on Thursday before three full days of competition across Aichi and Gifu, concluding on Sunday with Lake Mikawako as the Wolf Power Stage.
