Carlos Sainz is one of the WRC’s most consistent performers. El Matador won 26 rallies and claimed two titles, but also finished second or third in the championship on a remarkable nine occasions. He finished on the podium in almost half the rallies in which he competed. Sainz left nothing to chance in his rally preparations and his attention to detail was astonishing.
