eSports WRC Championship Rd. 11 preview: Finland

Going into the final round of the eSports WRC Championship, presented by Toyota Gazoo Racing, there is still the matter of a season MVP to be found, not to mention the two tickets to the Grand Final that remain up for grabs.

Taking on two of Rally Finland's most famous stages, the two talking points when action begins Thursday (06 August) will be if newcomer Sami-Joe can maintain his twelve-point buffer over defending champion Nexl to take home regular season MVP honours.

Meanwhile, the fight for the remaining two tickets to the eSports WRC Grand Final remains alive for seven drivers, who all remain a chance of finishing in seventh or eighth position.

There is additional intrigue around the world of eSports WRC this Saturday, when WRC drivers headlined by Kalle Rovanperä and Esapekka Lappi meet in Jyväskylä to take on Finland's best eSports WRC drivers for the Neste Rally Finland eChallenge. The winner of the eChallenge will earn themselves a wildcard ticket to the eSports WRC Grand Final, joining fellow wildcard Greekman, whose ticket came in Monte-Carlo in January.

The Neste Rally Finland eChallenge will be streamed live on facebook.com/wrc at 18:00 CET this Saturday (8 August).
