Held once again at the iconic Estonian National Museum in Tartu, the event will mark its fifth appearance on the FIA World Rally Championship calendar. During a press conference at Tallinn’s Rotermanni Square on Wednesday (18 June), organisers outlined a bold vision for 2025.
Among the key headlines were a host of updated stages, free-to-access fan zones, and headline concerts - including a performance from Ewert and the Two Dragons at the Tartu Song Festival Grounds.
Rally Estonia Director Urmo Aava expressed his hopes that the anniversary event will be one to remember.
“This 15th anniversary rally should be one where every member of our team can pat themselves on the back and say it truly turned out well,” Aava said. “We’ve worked hard in the forests, combining major arenas with hardcore rally fan areas and in some places, the landscape allows fans to get closer than ever."

Stages old and new

As in previous years, the rally will be based in Tartu and use stages across the surrounding municipalities of Otepää, Elva, Kanepi, Kastre, Peipsiääre and Mustvee. Among the highlights of this year’s route are:
  • An opening Super Special Stage (SS1/17) beside the National Museum
  • The return of iconic jumps such as Alaküla on the Otepää stage and Kitsehüpped on Kanepi
  • The all-new Hellenurme stage and a fan-friendly Power Stage finale at Kääriku, featuring lakeside podium celebrations
  • Friday evening's city stage in Elva will be preceded by a high-octane show featuring Red Bull stunt biker Aras Gibieza and local drift stars Oliver Randalu and Karel Piiroja.

Celebrating Estonian talent

Estonia’s top rally stars — including 2019 WRC champions Ott Tänak and co-driver Martin Järveoja — are expected to lead the home charge. Järveoja confirmed he will again be supporting a campaign with the Children’s Fund, giving fans the chance to win his special helmet design through donations.
Järveoja said: “I want to win every rally, but Rally Estonia is on home soil, and it would be extra special to stand on the top step here. Go buy your tickets and come support us along the stages.”
The rally’s commercial director, Tarmo Hõbe, added: “We’re delivering more than just rally stages. This is a full festival of motorsport and music, free for fans at key locations like the Town Hall Square and EXPO zone.”
