WRC pictures of the year: part 4

We bring you our final selection of the best images from the 2015 WRC season, courtesy of expert photographer André Lavadinho.

Earlier this week @World’s Lavadinho presented four of his favourites and we end our photo-fest with four more. If you want to view more of Lavadinho’s work then visit his website here. You can also find him on Twitter at @ALavadinho.

Our headline photograph shows Thierry Neuville’s dramatic roll in the final day of LOTOS 72nd Rally Poland. The Belgian survived relatively unscathed and went onto finish sixth in his Hyundai i20.

The shot above shows world champion Sébastien Ogier kicking up Coates Hire Rally Australia’s unique red dust in the Hydes Creek shakedown. Three days after this image was taken the Frenchman celebrated his third consecutive drivers’ world title.

The rivalry between drivers maybe intense when the helmets are on, but their friendship is just as evident. Long-time friends Dani Sordo was one of the first to rush over and congratulate Kris Meeke when the Briton won his maiden WRC event at XION Rally Argentina.

Our final shot also features Meeke as the DS 3 pilot powered through the Putifigari test at Rally Italia Sardegna.
