WRC 6 hits America

Competition in the eSports WRC Championship is set to get more intense following the announcement today that WRC 6, the official game of the World Rally Championship, has gone on sale in North and South America.

Thanks to a new deal between the game's publisher Bigben Interactive and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. WRC 6 is available for the PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM®.

WRC 6 lets players take on 14 championship rallies and play as and against the official drivers and teams. Players who have mastered the game have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in Season 2 of the eSports WRC Championship.

The Championship is open to all WRC 6 players to enter a series of rounds that run parallel to the official WRC calendar. The rounds end in November 2017, followed by a grand final.

Head of Software at Bigben Interactive, Benoît Clerc, said he was delighted to bring the excitement of the WRC to North and South America.

“Perhaps the best part for us will be seeing racers from around the globe squaring off to determine who is the best racer in the world,” he said.

“We work hard to make games that everyone can enjoy, and with WRC 6, beginners and veteran racers alike will have an opportunity to experience the exhilaration of rally racing at the highest level. There’s something here for everyone!”
