Ogier strives to be even better
Newly-crowned champion unwilling to rest on his laurels
Sébastien Ogier, Julien Ingrassia and Volkswagen secured the 2015 World Rally Championship titles in drivers', co-drivers' and manufacturers' classifications at the weekend, securing the trophies with three rounds remaining.
Ogier's victory Down Under enabled Volkswagen to take its third back-to-back Manufacturers’ Championship, pulling it level with WRC legends Lancia, Subaru, Peugeot and Citroën as winners three times in a row.
But rather than rest on its laurels, Capito insisted his team was already working hard to achieve more success. "We know where we can improve. You always can - it's a constant challenge," he said.
"We always look after each rally at where we made mistakes, where we were not as good as we could be. We work hard and push hard to improve on every rally and we want to get better from rally to rally and from year to year. This is our motivation.
"The team is as hungry as it was before the first rally to go to rallies and to win the titles. We are already working flat-out for 2016 and 2017 and we want to stay where we are," he added.
