Video special: France debut for Michelin’s new tyres

This week’s Rallye de France - Alsace will mark the competitive debut for Michelin’s upgraded range of Pilot Sport asphalt tyres.

All of the manufacturer registered World Rally Cars on the event will run on the new rubber, which is available in two compounds; S4 (soft) for use in cool and damp conditions and H4 (hard) for warmer and drier weather. Both feature a new tread pattern and a revised construction that reduces their weight by 0.5kg per tyre.

Find out more about the new tyres, including how WRC drivers Kris Meeke and Sebastein Ogier rated them after testing, in our exclusive video.
