SS2: Weather forces stage cancellation
Torrential overnight rain forced organisers to cancel Friday morning’s second stage of Tour de Corse – Rallye de France.
The liaison section to the 43.69km Casamozza - Ponte Leccia test was flooded (above), while landslides in the stage between 10km and 16km meant that it was impossible to drive the roads competitively.
Competitors will remain in the regroup at the Corte service park before departing for SS3 which is due to start at 14.47.
