Revolverheld to rock ADAC Rallye Deutschland

The worlds of rock and rally will come together at ADAC Rallye Deutschland [20 - 23 August] when the German group Revolverheld plays a special concert on the rally stages during Saturday's competition.

The four-piece from Hamburg will perform a live concert on the central Volkswagen Stage, next to the special stages at the legendary 'Arena Panzerplatte', located on the Baumholder military training ground, at 1400hrs on Saturday 22 August.

During the break between SS13 (Panzerplatte Long 1) and SS14 (Grafschaft 2), the platinum-selling group, led by singer Johannes Strate, will rock the stage with a one-hour set of hits from their ten-year career. The concert is free for all visitors to the rally with a valid event ticket. Further details can be found here.

Sadly the rally schedule makes it unlikely that Sébastien Ogier's rock-loving co-driver Julien Ingrassia will make a guest appearance. At the 2013 Rally Australia, Julien donned plastic horns and jumped on stage with an AC-DC tribute band to perform a memorable air guitar solo.
