Regroup: Citroën & Meeke special

Hot on the heels of Citroën's announcement about its 2016 WRC plans, we hear from Citroën Racing boss Yves Matton and lead driver Kris Meeke in a special edition of the Regroup Podcast.

Talking to WRC Live presenter Becs Williams, Matton explains why it was an easy decision to sign Kris on a three-year deal, and why he believes the Northern Irishman is the best option if you want to go chasing Volkswagens.

He also reveals details about the development of the all-new 2017 spec car, including the people behind it, and what he expects next year from Meeke's team-mates, Craig Breen and Stéphane Lefebvre.

For Meeke Christmas has come early, and he explains why the commitment Citroën has put in him and co-driver Paul Nagle will pay dividends in the long run.

He also talks about his plans for January's Rallye Monte-Carlo, his test programme beyond that and why he's unlikely to be relaxing in his garden any time soon...

Regroup is available to download free from the media section of wrc.com.
