Volkswagen and Sebastien Ogier may have secured this season’s top championship prizes, but the fight for second in the manufacturers’ contest is wide open as we head to the final round in Wales (13-16 November).
With a maximum 43 points on offer next week, Citroen, M-Sport and Hyundai are all in the running to take the runner-up spot.
Starting the event in pole position, with 187 points, is the Citroen Total Abu Dhabi team and its drivers Mads Østberg and Kris Meeke.
The M-Sport team, with drivers Mikko Hirvonen and Elfyn Evans, is right behind on 180 points, while the Hyundai Shell team, represented in Wales by Thierry Neuville and Juho Hänninen, has 175 points.
Victory for any one of these six drivers could be enough for their team to take second place.
