Poll: Which looks best? 2015 World Rally Car liveries

Poll: Car liveries

Which 2015 season livery looks best?

Which of the 2015 manufacturer car liveries looks the best? That’s what we want to find out in our latest wrc.com poll.

Getting involved is dead easy. Just have a look at the nominees below, pick your favourite and then cast your vote using the box on the right.

We’ll let this run until Wednesday 4 March and will bring you more about the winning livery at Rally Guanajuato México (05-08 March).

M-Sport World Rally Team.
Car: Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car. Having turned its back on black, M-Sport says its whiter 2015 design ‘aims to inspire its young squad whilst igniting the imagination with a hint of nostalgia.’ Drawing on Ford’s rallying past, it says the striped scheme - fading white at the front to black at the rear - was was inspired by Hannu Mikkola's 1979 Ford Escort RS 1800 MKII and the later 1989 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth of Colin McRae.

Volkswagen Motorsport.
Car: Polo R World Rally Car. The team’s all-new 2015-spec Polos are also sporting a brand new livery. Volkswagen’s corporate blue and white still feature strongly, but blue is the dominant colour this time - replacing the plain white of 2014. White and light blue stripes see the dark blue front merge into the white rear, while the yellow and red Red Bull logos and VW roundel adorn the doors.

Hyundai Shell WRT
Car: Hyundai i20 World Rally Car. Hyundai’s i20 World Rally Car still looks fresh because it only made its competitive appearance a little over 12 months ago. And apart from the addition of a couple of Hyundai group logos there’s little to differentiate the 2015 livery from last year’s. The unique blue and red/orange theme continues for now, but we can expect a major refresh when the i20’s replacement is introduced later this season.

Citroën Total Abu Dhabi WRT.
Car: DS 3 World Rally Car. More evolution than revolution, this year’s DS3 sticks to the team’s familiar white, red and gold theme. The gold Abu Dhabi logo dominates the roof as before, but new this year is the increased emphasis on the DS brand instead of Citroen. The special livery for Sebastien Loeb’s Rallye Monte-Carlo car underlined this switch, with a giant ’60’ spread across the rear wings marking the sixtieth anniversary of the original Citroën DS.

Jipocar Czech National Team.
Car: Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car. Fiona the Fiesta has been given a striking new wardrobe this year. Out goes the black look of 2014, and in comes a new scheme based around a cool grey. The logo of Prokop’s long term backer, Jipocar Transport and Logistic, moves from the rear flanks to the front doors. The grey is set off with sections of a vibrant red/orange and other highlights - including the wheels - in yellow.

RK World Rally Team.
Car: Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car. Robert Kubica is running his own team this year, and he launched his fresh start with a new look at Rallye Monte-Carlo. Last seasons’s red, white, blue and mirror-silver has been replaced by a brand new scheme based on a matt-finish grey. Vibrant orange accents and white panels, carrying the logo of long time partner Lotos, and white wheels add to the smart new appearance.

FWRT.
Car: Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car. A new manufacturer team for 2015, but it’s a familiar look for Lorenzo Bertelli’s military-inspired Fiesta. With his close links to the Prada empire, you’d expect the Italian’s car to be bang on trend - and he’s clearly put in a lot of effort here. One of the first drivers to favour matt-finished bodywork, his khaki green look has evolved over the last two seasons to include a metallic gold roof and bare carbon bumpers and front wings. To complete the combat-look, his mechanics dress like extras from Top Gun!
