Kubica's Portugal success with revamped team
Pole re-establishes link with M-Sport
Last week, Volkswagen made amends for its retirement-hit Argentina by securing its third 1-2-3 on a world championship round, and topped this off by claiming all six Power Stage bonus points - becoming the first manufacturer to secure maximum points across the board.
In an exclusive interview with WRC Live Regroup presenter Becs Williams, Capito said: "It was fantastic after the bad result Argentina - the worst result we've ever had. To come back with our best result on the podium and also the Power Stage just shows how strong the team is and how we stick together after a setback."
Capito also gave his verdict on the performance of rally winner Jari-Matti Latvala. 'The best driver of the rally won," he said. "Sunday's middle stage showed Jari-Matti's commitment - and that broke Seb [Ogier] as well - from then he knew he had no chance. Jari-Matti really showed how strong he can be under pressure."
