As the championship’s official fuel supplier, Panta will provide all priority drivers in the World Rally Car, WRC 2 and WRC 3 categories with high-quality performance fuel at every round.
The Italian company, a member of the MOL Group, has provided top-level fuel for more than 25 years to leading international motorsport competitions in disciplines including rallying, circuit racing and karting.
CEO Maurizio Migliarotti said Panta’s WRC fuel had been developed in close co-operation with the championship’s top teams to assure high-level performance and the company was developing further upgrades.
“Panta Distribuzione S.p.A. is really proud to be a partner of the WRC. That’s a key milestone for us and a testimony to the excellent quality and high-level performance of our products.
“We are fully motivated to become a strategic player in WRC teams’ successes and to develop new special products for the sensational world of the FIA World Rally Championship,” he added.
WRC Promoter managing director Oliver Ciesla said Panta’s partnership with the WRC would benefit championship contenders at all levels.
“This is not merely an agreement that assists manufacturers and teams in the headline World Rally Car category. All competitors registered in the WRC’s support championships will also profit from Panta’s expertise.
“Panta has a deserved reputation for providing high-quality fuel for international motorsport. WRC offers an ideal platform for Panta’s continued research to further develop and improve its products and competitors can be confident the fuel they use will deliver maximum performance,” said Ciesla.
