Nexl takes eSports lead

French gamer Nexl tops the standings in the eSports WRC as the competition moves to the dust tracks of a virtual Guanajuato Rally Mexico for round three this week.

Nexl, from team TX3, toppled early leader Hesto at last month's second round, run on four stages of a virtual Rally Sweden.

Nexl took victory on the snow-covered roads by just 1.08 sec from Speedbooster27 while Monte Carlo winner Hesto was third. On his first appearance in 2017, aTTaX Johnson, the 2016 Champion, was fifth.

The championship moves to the gravel roads of central Mexico for round three, which will run in parallel with the real event from 9 - 12 March.

The itinerary of the eSports event will be unveiled on www.esportswrc.com on Thursday 9 March.
