New eSports edition of WRC 5 on sale
A new edition of the WRC 5 video game has been released that gives players all the content they need to take part in the 2016 eSports WRC tournament.
The new WRC 5 eSports Edition includes the game and both downloadable content packs, which together add 13 new stages (one for each rally) and a WRC exclusive car with three liveries.
Available for Playstation®4 and Xbox One, it includes everything that players will need to enjoy the game and to participate in the global eSports rally tournament which this year offers a prize of a Hyundai i20 road car worth 20,000 Euros.
The eSports WRC season is divided into two halves with five qualifying rounds and a semi-final for each half.
The semi-finals will be played online during Rally Italia Sardegna (9 – 12 June) and RallyRACC Catalunya - Rally de España (13 – 16 October), right before the grand finale at Wales Rally GB, where the best 18 drivers will be invited to fight for the title.
Qualifications are still open and even in September players around the world will still have the opportunity to qualify for the grand finale.
