Belgian back at the wheel for test
Publisher Bigben and developer Kylotonn invited players to try out an early version of WRC 8, the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship, to gauge feedback on the gameplay and driving sensation.
“First impressions are actually really good. I can see there’s definitely been a step up from WRC 7 and Kylotonn have made a step forward in what they’ve produced,” said Jonathan ‘Jonno’ Holmes, 2017 and 2018 eSports WRC finalist.
The latest version of the WRC game will be available in September on Playstation® 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC and will offer significant upgrades on the previous version.
It boasts resolute simulation-centred gameplay, a dynamic weather system and an entirely redesigned career mode.
It also offers more content than ever with 102 special stages spread across the championship’s 14 countries and a selection of historic cars that have left their mark on WRC history.
