Face to Face with WRC

Take the stunning scenery offered by 13 WRC events, mix the world’s best rally drivers pushing to save every tenth of a second and add the creative talents of photographer Richárd Bálint.

The result is WRC Face to Face 2014, the 252-page official yearbook of the FIA World Rally Championship which is now on sale

The book spotlights more than 50 of the sport’s top drivers and co-drivers as well as all 13 rounds, supported by detailed results and championship positions.

WRC Face to Face offers great shots of the WRC's scenery

But it’s the spectacular photographs that will draw you into this book. Bálint, a veteran of almost 200 rallies, is in the very top echelon of WRC photographers and tells his season’s story through his camera.

Wonderful action shots and portraits are interspersed with images of atmospheric WRC locations - often to the point at which a rally car is almost superfluous to the scenery portrayed.

The book, the fifth annual review from Bálint, includes a foreword by double world champion co-driver Julien Ingrassia, and is the type you might put on your coffee table for friends to take a look at when they drop in over the festive period.

Bálint offers next day delivery so it’s not too late if you are still hunting for Christmas gifts and you can find more information here.
