The biggest story to come from the Greek stages was the incredible qualification of Williams Esports driver Botti Jr. Entering the weekend on the cusp of the top eight in ninth position, the Italian driver claimed his maiden victory to propel him into fifth position.
The heartbreak story was reserved for MachineLV who missed out on the top eight by a single point despite coming runner-up at Rally Greece, finishing behind Kriim, who locked up the final available spot.
The eight finalists are, in order of seeding:
- Sami-Joe (Lebanon)
- Izamusing (Great Britain)
- Nexl (France)
- Kazunokota (Japan)
- Botti Jr (Italy)
- Katana (Poland)
- Zeniou (Cyprus)
- Kriim (France)
Race Clutch will be heavily represented at the World Final with three drivers in Izamusing, three-time world champion Nexl and Kriim.
The World Final takes place in Athens, Greece from 7-8 September in concurrence with the tenth round of the FIA World Rally Championship, EKO Acropolis Rally Greece. Drivers will compete at the Athens Olympic Centre in front of a live audience whilst the event will be streamed to thousands globally.
