WRC drives new partnership with software expert FORUM8

WRC Promoter has finalised a multi-year agreement with Japanese software expert FORUM8 to join the FIA World Rally Championship as an official partner.

The co-operation will begin in partnership with Automobile Club d’Italia for joint naming rights at the climax to the 2021 WRC season at FORUM8 ACI Rally Monza (19 - 21 November), before continuing throughout the exciting debut season of the WRC’s new hybrid era in 2022.

The partnership complements FORUM8’s title sponsorship of Rally Japan, which has been confirmed on the 2022 WRC calendar.

FORUM8 is the leading Japanese producer of state-of-the-art 3D simulation software, including virtual reality driving. It was established in Tokyo in 1987 and has offices and partners on every continent.

It has provided software and technology services for civil engineering and construction projects. With the development of virtual reality, its products have been used in transportation and automotive research, planning rail, road and pedestrian-based events and emergency training.
