The 2021 regular season comes to a wrap in Wales from 06-09 August with three tickets to the 2021 Grand Final, which will take place in Greece on 08 September, still unclaimed.
Nine drivers remain a mathematical chance of claiming one of the three tickets with competitors able to remove their worst result from the Regular Season. However, for four of those nine, nothing short of victory in Wales, and other results to go in their favour, is required to climb into the top eight. Above them and currently sitting in tenth position, Mihalo has curiously been missing for the previous three rounds. A return in Wales and a relatively strong result may see him still sneak into the top eight.
Above Mihalo sit the four drivers who are in the most realistic positions of taking one of the three final tickets. With their worst scores removed, just 18 points separate Will Botti Jr. who currently lies in sixth and Marvino down in ninth. Marvino is however, just four points off Kanweex in eighth spot.
Already qualified are Sami-Joe, Nexl, Izamusing and Kriim.
For the final challenge of the regular season, drivers will take on the 6.01km Hafren, followed by the 17.43km Dyfi Reverse, both in early evening conditions.
Competition is open to all players of WRC 9 across Playstation, Xbox and PC.
