eSports heads to Kenya

An all-new adventure awaits the eSports WRC drivers this week as the eSports WRC Championship presented by Toyota Gazoo Racing ventures to the African continent for the first time.

Safari Rally Kenya makes its much-anticipated return to the WRC from 24-27 June but before we get to that, it also makes its just as anticipated debut on the eSports WRC calendar from 18-21 June.

Without a doubt, Sami-Joe will enter the tenth stop on the calendar as the hot favourite. The Lebanese teenager remains undefeated this season and a victory in Kenya will already confirm his status as regular season MVP.

Sami-Joe is also the only driver to have thus far locked their spot in the Grand Final, with seven tickets remaining up for grabs with a number of drivers still within a realistic chance of a top-eight finish.

For their maiden African adventure, drivers will be required to tackle two stages: Negma and Ntulele in reverse.

Competition is open to all players on WRC 9.
