Season Info

Lancia continued its winning streak with a second straight manufacturers’ crown, although the challenge was stiffer than in 1974. The calendar returned to 10 rounds with Monte Carlo and Sweden reinstated, while the North American events were dropped.
The Stratos won four rallies, including Sandro Munari’s third Monte Carlo victory, but mechanical gremlins tested the team's resilience. Fiat edged Alpine-Renault for second by a single point, 61–60. Although road-going Stratos production ended in 1975 after 492 units, competition development pressed on, including more powerful 4-valve engine variants. The season reaffirmed the Stratos’ place at the forefront of rallying’s evolution.
