Car Info

The Lancia Delta Integrale Evo marked the final - and most advanced - evolution of the Delta rally dynasty, claiming the 1992 manufacturers’ title and closing out Lancia’s record-breaking six-year run at the top of the WRC.
Incorporating lessons from five years of Group A competition, the Evo featured extensive upgrades. Revised engine management and improved turbo efficiency sharpened the response of its 2.0-litre sixteen-valve turbocharged engine, still producing around 300 bhp. Enhanced cooling, aerodynamic refinements - including a distinctive front spoiler - and revised suspension geometry delivered improved handling and reliability.
Carlos Sainz guided the Evo to the 1992 drivers’ championship, underlining the car’s competitiveness even as newer challengers emerged. With this final triumph, the Integrale Evo brought Lancia’s extraordinary campaign to a close - six consecutive manufacturers’ titles from 1987 to 1992, a feat unmatched in WRC history.
