WRC Rally Sweden 2027

Welcome to the WRC’s winter wonderland.

Rally Sweden is the championship’s only full snow-and-ice round, taking the world’s fastest rally cars into the frozen forests surrounding Umeå in northern Sweden.

Studded tyres bite through the ice to create remarkable grip and some of the highest speeds of the season, while towering snowbanks line the stages and give the rally its unmistakable character.

The event moved north to Umeå in 2022, placing the championship in a region where winter conditions, enthusiastic crowds and a compact city-centred rally environment combine to create one of the calendar’s most distinctive experiences.
